Tacx first introduced the Magnum Smart – a bike treadmill – over a year ago. The Magnum Smart is now available in Belgium and the Netherlands and you can try it out at one of Tacx’s certified dealers.

The Magnum Smart is a bike treadmill that allows cyclists to train completely free, without any attachments to the bike. The speed of the belt adjusts automatically, due to speed measurement sensors. The direct drive motor enables fast belt adjustments, meaning that the treadmill will always keep the bike in the middle. The Magnus Smart can also be use as a regular running treadmill.

The Magnus comes with a 32″ high-definition screen and can simulate climbs up to 15%. The Magnum can reach a maximum speed of 30km/h or 18m/h.

The Magnum supports ANT+ FE-C and Bluetooth open protocols and can work with third-party apps such as Zwift.

The Magnum works seamlessly with Tacx apps and third-party apps such as Zwift, and can be used with the control panel on the side. As with other Tacx Smart trainers, this trainer recognizes the ANT+ FE-C and Bluetooth open protocols, enabling you to ride with your favorite software.

The Magnum Smart is now available in Belgium and the Netherlands and you can order one today for €8000. First deliveries will take place at the start of 2018. It will be installed by an official certified Magnum professional.
