Let’s start with the Tuo. It’s the first wheel-on trainer we have seen released in quite a while. The Tuo is Elite’s latest wheel-on trainer that is interactive meaning it will pair to apps in ANT+ and Bluetooth, and be able to control it in ERG or slope mode.

The Tuo is a beautiful looking trainer and I can’t believe I am saying that about a wheel-on trainer. It was created with cooperation with Adriano Design and has that made in Italy design. That’s the same design company that created the FUORIPISTA smart bike Elite showcased last year.

The Tuo claims accuracy within +/-3% and supports slope up to 10% and 1,250 watts maximum output. It compatible with bikes with large chain stays and wheels up to 29’’. It’s also compatible with 130x5mm hubs with quick release and Boost 148x12mm thru-axle.

The Tuo will retail for $499.99 USD and should be available late September.

DIRETO X

The Direto also received an update. The new Direto X has improved accuracy within ±1.5% compared to the old Direto’s ±2% and can simulate gradient of up to 18% compared to the old Direto’s 14%.

The Direto X received a slightly modified frame design to accommodate long cage derailers.

The Direto X will be available at retailers late September and retails for $899.99.
