If you’re an avid Zwifter, you’ll be excited to learn about the latest update to the Zwift Companion App, which now includes a new Personal Leaderboards feature. This feature will give you a new way to analyze your ride data and track your progress over time by comparing your times on different segments.

To access Personal Leaderboards, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the Zwift Companion App and go to the “More” section.
  2. Select the world you want to analyze and see which routes you’ve completed in that world.
  3. Choose the route you want to analyze and select the individual segment you want to view.
  4. Your efforts will be broken down into quarters, and your times will be displayed on a chart.

One of the most exciting things about Personal Leaderboards is that segment times for all Zwifters are available, going back to each rider’s first day on Zwift. This means that you can track your progress over time and see how you’ve improved since you first started using the platform. For example, I apparently haven’t attempted to break my PR (28:40) on the Epic KOM since December of 2016 😱

It’s worth noting that while the new Personal Leaderboards feature in the Zwift Companion App offers a great way to analyze your ride data and track your progress over time, you may find that some segments are missing. For example, segments such as “Alpe Du Zwift” and “Ven-Top” are not currently included. Hopefully Zwift will include them added soon.

In addition to the Personal Leaderboards feature, Zwift has also added the ability to access route details in the Companion App. All routes in Zwift, including event-only routes, can now be found in the Leaderboards UI. This allows you to see the basics of each world’s route, including length, elevation, and an overhead map.

To make things easier and definitely a welcome addition, Zwift has included a checkbox next to each route indicating whether it has a route completion badge and whether you’ve earned that badge. This makes it simple to find routes you haven’t completed yet, so you can knock them out and earn that XP bonus!

Personal Leaderboards offers a wealth of information and insights to help you take your performance to the next level. Make sure to update your Zwift Companion App to version 3.44 and start exploring the new Personal Leaderboards.
