TrainerRoad released a new update to its indoor cycling app. The new TrainerRoad app covers a number of product updates for Tacx, CycleOps and Computrainer.
First, TrainerRoad now supports Bluetooth Smart for Tacx smart trainers. You no longer need ANT+ dongle to connect to Tacx Trainers. Until now, if you wanted to use ERG mode with TrainerRoad and Tacx trainers, you had to use ANT+ connection. You no longer need to do that with this update.
Also, the new update improves compatibility for CycleOps Bluetooth Smart trainers. The CycleOps Powerbeam Pro is now supported on all devices including the Android app.
Finally, Mac support for Computrainers with the newly redesigned Mac app.
