Wahoo Fitness has officially launched the KICKR Run Smart Treadmill, and it’s now available to order in the USA as of October 10th, 2024. The KICKR Run retails for $4,999.99 and you can place your order directly from WahooFitness website.

According to Wahoo, the KICKR Run requires a dedicated 15 amp circuit and non-GFCI outlet or breaker. In-home delivery and setup is required and will cost you an additional $300.

Since Wahoo first unveiled the KICKR Run back in January, excitement has been building, with many tech and fitness reviewers flocking to demo locations to check out the treadmill and test its features.

I had the opportunity to meet up with the Wahoo team and Zwift team at the Boston Run Show earlier this year and take the KICKR Run for a spin. And let me tell you, I was very impressed with what they have done. You can watch my video and first impressions of the treadmill here.

RunFree Mode: Using advanced position sensing technology, the KICKR Run dynamically adjusts the belt speed to match your stride in real-time. No more fumbling with controls mid-run. You just focus on running, and the treadmill keeps up with you.

Automatic Grade Control: Whether you’re tackling a hill or cruising downhill, the treadmill automatically adjusts the incline (up to 15%) and decline (up to 3%) when connected to your favorite running apps like Zwift, Final Surge, and Kinomap.

Target Pace Control: This feature makes it easy to follow structured running workoutsThe KICKR Run makes it easy with quick speed adjustments using the speed control paddle.

Responsive Surface and Lateral Tilt: The running surface is designed to mimic the feel of outdoor terrain, offering energy return and lateral tilt up to 1.5 degrees to give your running muscles a real workout.

Elite Speed Capabilities: The KICKR Run has a top speed of 4-minute mile pace making it an attractive treadmill for professional runners and triathletes.

Smart Connectivity: The treadmill has WiFi, Bluetooth, and DirectConnect capabilities so it can be paired with Zwift or any other running app that supports these protocols.

KICKR RUN is planned to launch in 2025 in Germany and the UK.
