Yesterday, Wahoo Fitness launched a number of new features to its training software platform, Wahoo X. These new features include the following:
- Integrated Voice Chat in Wahoo RGT.
- A New Virtual Real Road in Wahoo RGT.
- Outdoor Workouts in Wahoo SYSTM.
- New On-Location Ride in Wahoo SYSTM.
Wahoo X is Wahoo’s new subscription service that combines Wahoo RGT and Wahoo SYSTM together. With one single sign-on and one single subscription, you will have access to all of the features and content for both Wahoo SYSTM and Wahoo RGT.

INTEGRATED VOICE CHAT
Wahoo Fitness launched a new Voice Chat feature in Wahoo RGT. With Voice Chat riders will have the option for voice chat ‘in app,’ with other riders. This feature has multiple uses, from social chat when on group rides to race radio. Up until now, riders have been utilizing other third-party tools such as Discord to socialize during group training rides or races. Currently, there are multiple channels available for voice chat: Worldwide channel, Proximity channel, Custom channel, and Race radio.
DUNOON CROSSOVER
Wahoo X is also launching the ‘Dunoon Crossover’ on RGT – a brand new gravel ‘Real Road,’ based on a new high-profile cycling destination, soon to open in Scotland. This brings the ‘Real Road’ library in RGT to thirteen roads.
SYSTM OUTDOOR WORKOUTS
Wahoo SYSTM Workouts are now available to take outside. Wahoo announced this feature when they released the ROAM 2 bike computers. However, consider today as the official release of Wahoo SYSTM Outdoor workouts.
To make a workout appears on your ELEMNT bike computer, add SYSTM workout to your Calendar in SYSTM, then it will automatically sync and show up under Planned Workouts on your Wahoo ELEMTN Bolt, ROAM, or ROAM 2 bike computer.
ON LOCATION PORTUGAL
SYSTM also continues to grow its extensive library of workouts and videos with the launch of new, immersive training content. This includes the recent release of “On Location Portugal,” which adds to the On Location series that you will find in SYSTM On-Location library of rides.
