Wahoo Fitness just sent out an email communication to its members informing them of an upcoming price increase. The new annual membership will go up from $129 to $149 per year. The new price will take effect on November 15th. If you are a current member, you will be charged the $149 at your next renewal date.
They also gave current members the option to lock in another year at the current price by renewing another year before November 15th.

Over the past year we’ve been working hard to bring more value to the Wahoo X Membership. Just in the past month we released the Voice Chat feature in RGT, along with the Dunoon Crossover Real Road, as well as new content including the On Location Portugal and ProRide Mont Ventoux rides in SYSTM. As we are continuing to make these types of additions to Wahoo X, we will be increasing the price of our annual membership from $129 to $149 USD to align with the increased value of the membership offering.
Wahoo X is Wahoo’s new subscription service that was announced by Wahoo Fitness last spring. The subscription service bundles Wahoo RGT and Wahoo SYSTM together. With one single sign-on and one single subscription, you will have access to all of the features and content for both Wahoo SYSTM and Wahoo RGT.
Wahoo SYSTM is a training platform for cyclists and triathletes that offers personalized workouts paired with video-based cycling content, pro rides content and on-location video content. On top of that, they also offer yoga, strength, and mental training all can be integrated into customizable training plans which you can create to help plan out your training season.
On the other hand, Wahoo RGT is a virtual cycling platform with virtual routes that are based on real-world locations. Wahoo RGT gives you a lot of flexibility to select which route to ride on at any given day. You can also create your own routes, you can setup group rides, events, and races and invite others to join you.
The price increase doesn’t seem to have an impact on the Hardware/Software package Wahoo just announced last month that combines Wahoo KICKR SNAP with a Wahoo X subscription in the US for only $29.99 per month. This package is a 12-month subscription commitment, and with that, you get the KICKR SNAP smart wheel-on trainer and full access to Wahoo RGT and Wahoo SYSTM.
