Other folks have mentioned it is hard to mount - if you keep your CG in the center of the bike and over the front fork (mounted easily to the tripod portion of the trainer) as you mount and dismount you will have no issues. Also while riding it this trainer encourages a strong core, so beginner cyclists may need to take some time adapting to the trainer. Looking forward to seeing how many miles it can handle!

Es un rodillo un poco caro si consideramos que NO es un rodillo inteligente. Es mecánico, no electrónico.
Pero por otro lado, tiene ventajas que no encuentras en otros rodillos:
- Es portátil. Se pliega y se almacena en una maleta que viene incluída. Lo puedes llevar a cualquier lado, incluso a una competencia para calentamiento.
- Puedes montar cualquier bicicleta, sin importar la rodada, si es de ruta o de montaña o el tipo de eje que use tu bicicleta. Incluye los accesorios requeridos para montar cualquier bicicleta. No requieres de adquirir accesorios adicionales para montar diferentes tipos de bicicletas.
- Aún cuando es un rodillo de rulos, no tienes que preocuparte por mantener el equilibrio. No requieres de tiempo para aprender a usarlo, lo puedes comenzar a usar en cuanto lo recibes.
Por otro lado, las desventajas que le encuentro son:
- Precio. Hay opciones más económicas, pero ninguna cumplía todos mis requerimientos. Este rodillo cumple con todo y hace valer su costo.
- Como cualquier otro rodillo de rulos, mecánico o magnético, es un poco ruidoso (no en exceso), sobretodo si lo usas con bicicleta de montaña.
- Al igual que cualquier otro rodillo de este tipo, va desgastando la llanta. Es recomendable tener una refacción de llanta completa (rin, maza, casette y llanta lisa), para usar con el rodillo y evitar el desgaste de tu llanta.
Muy recomendable.
Es ist somit, nach meiner langen Recherche der einzige Rollentrainer dieser Bauart, die wirklich jeden Radstand zulässt.
Die Portabilität ist ein Gamechanger. Aber,….
Ich habe ihn trotzdem retourniert. Erstens wird das Teil, wer hätte es gedacht, in China produziert. Dann wird das Gerät nach USA exportiert und dann nach Deutschland gekarrt. Das ist mit meinem Verständniss der Nachhaltigkeit unvereinbar. Hierin spiegelt sich auch dann der sehr hohe Preis von annähernd 500,-€ wieder. Das Produkt ist diesen Preis auf keinen Fall wert. Hier stecken die Frachtkosten und Margen der ganzen Lieferkette drin.
Zweitens ist die Verarbeitungsqualität schlecht. Die beiden 45 Grad abgewinkelten Alubleche, an denen das Teleskop befestigt ist, sind jeweils mit einem kleinen Schweißpunkt, der auch nur von einer Blechseite und nicht durchgeschweißt sind geheftet. Das kann und wird niemals halten, auch nicht bei einem 40kg Fahrer. An dieser Stelle entsteht im Fahrbetrieb ein gewisser Flex und das wird zwangsläufig brechen. Dann ist der Trainer Schrott.
Das ist meines Erachtens Sicherheitsrelevant für den Fahrer. Typisch chinesische Verarbeitung..
Die dritte Sache sind die Rollen. Sie sehen auf den ersten Blick solide aus, bei genauerem hinsehen ist dort an den wichtigen Lagerstellen billiges Plastik verarbeitet. Das könnte nach einer gewissen Belastungsphase zu Problemen führen. Die Rollen werden nämlich bei höherer Belastung sehr warm.
Zu guter letzt ist dar gesamte Rollentrainer lieblos montiert. Sämtliche schwarz angelassenen Schrauben/Muttern sind von der Montage zerkratzt. Gleiches gilt für die rote Eloxierung der Rahmenteile. An den roten Blechwangen der Achsen sieht man genau die Schleifspuren der 17er Nuss, mit der die Achsmuttern montiert wurden. Das ist sicher für die Funktion nicht ausschlaggebend, aber für diesen Preis ein absolutes no-Go.
Fazit: Völlig überteuerter Rollentrainer, mit Sicherheitsmängeln für sehr leichte Fahrer. Dafür mit gutem Grundkonzept. Eigentlich ist eine derartige Umsetzung für weniger als die Hälfte problemlos machbar.
Es gibt ein Amazon eigenes Produkt in dieser Preisklasse, welches hier vermutlich mithalten kann.
Für große schwere Fahrer (nur die haben auch solch große Fahrräder) absolute Warnung bzgl. der Stabilität der Schweißnähte. Die angegebenen ca. 100kg Systemgewicht halte ich für extrem ambitioniert. Ich hätte bei einer Fahrerin mit 50-60kg plus einem leichten Rennrad ein sehr mulmiges Gefühl.
Wer kein Problem mit dem Radstand hat kauft sich besser einen Tacxs oder Elite. Dann fährt man sicher.
